Abstract

This paper explores the transformative role of blockchain technology in supply chain management, emphasizing its potential to enhance security and transparency. In an era marked by increasing globalization and complexity in supply chains, traditional systems often struggle with issues such as fraud, data discrepancies, and lack of visibility. Blockchain, with its decentralized and immutable ledger, offers a promising solution to these challenges. This study analyzes various case studies illustrating successful blockchain implementations across different industries, highlighting the benefits of improved traceability, reduced operational costs, and strengthened trust among stakeholders. Furthermore, the paper discusses the barriers to widespread adoption, including technological, regulatory, and cultural challenges. Ultimately, the findings suggest that while blockchain holds significant promise for revolutionizing supply chain processes, a collaborative effort among industry players is essential to fully realize its potential.
